What is custom template business cards?

A custom template business cards is where you can store your custom business card template on line and use for your office members with a log-in. Once you log-in the template layout system, your template is available for you to typeset the card yourself or anyone with the log-in information followed by the online payment.

To qualify for the free custom template set up you must order at least 2 sets of cards with us. This allows us to have a stable working template in the system.

Avoid the use of process black color on the black text

Use of the default black color can enhance the text looking vivid and not fuzzy.

Don’t set your black text color as the process color or cymk:100/100/100/100. If the printing plates are not registered perfectly then the printed letters can look fuzzy.

Use the right color gray with PMS Cool Gray. Instead of using the  black color to get the shade of a gray color use the PMS cool gray. This will prove the tone opacity and makes your gray colors less grainy.

What’s the true black color to use on the business card?

We recommend use of C=60,Y=40, M=40, K=100 on the black colors. With any other combination of process colors may not get the true black color you are expecting.

On the black text, use C=0,Y=0, M=0, K=100.

Who should use the pre-designed layout?

Anyone who is not ready to present themselves in  their best business image can use the pre-designed layout until the time is right for them to persuit in the right direction.

We find most of the pre-designed templates are overwhelmed with graphics and left with very little room to add on the information. Importantly, it’s very difficult to add on the company logo  properly over the heavily covered with background colors.
